		<description>Great article! I used to notice that my kids would need to have a cry, and would invent any weird reason to. Seems like Boo does the same thing! Clearly, &quot;How come *I* don&#039;t get to vomit?&quot; is not the issue, but she can&#039;t communicate the complicated lifechanging stuff. She just needs to throw herself on the floor and have a good cry. And with someone there to help her feel okay about it, it was a GOOD cry. 

Even my 11-year-old is not immune. He SAYS he is not stressed about the barbaric 11+ exam, so how can he cry about it? Instead, he recently had to invent a sibling issue out of the blue. I was waiting for it, since I could see the stress building, and got into the hammock with him for a long session of tears and hugs. He was so cool afterwards, and I reminded him (and his brothers) that a good cry is a good thing. You can never be too big or macho to cry.</description>
