@Nan - You've *had* dengue fever? Wow... yike. I've never been very good at hiring people, possibly because I never have, apart from about 3 times we had a teenager babysit. I'm sort of a do-it-yourself-by-yourselfer. Pathetic, I know.

Well, I HAVE had dengue fever, and so has my seven-year-old, so I can pretty much guarantee that’s not what Boobaby has! How about hiring a guy to come and help you with your slide? And a teenager to hold Blueberry? Then it would be DONE! Expensive, I know, but getting ONE THING done is so cool and you can garden while the newly-crawling Blueberry follows her sister down the slide that holds itself up!

My friend, you sound just like the rest of us. I figure I have a few years of being a cab as my major hobby before I can return to the passions I loved – if in fact I can even remember what they were by then!!!!!

Oh, and yes, we are really in Arizona, but I was born and raised in Greenwich, CT, the hometown of the Kincaid children in that wonderful book. When I get homesick, I teach lit circles using that book to bring me back.

I am the exact same way. I always have so many ideas. I start them then have 500 projects half done. my latest one? Program an online game over Christmas holidays, half done and half my holidays gone.
