Home for the Holidays

“There’s a point when we start referring to our parents more frequently as ‘Grandma’ and ‘Grandpa’ than ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’ — that time when we new parents assume the generational mantle as family center of gravity.”
In other words, we’re having our parents — all 7 of them — come to town to visit Boo and the Blueberry over the holidays, and — yipe! — I describe it for my trimonthly column in Bay Area Parent.
Want to take a look? What if I tell you it’s got our real names! Now do you want to take a look?
That’s what I thought. Drop by any bay area supermarket this month, or if the travel from your spot on the earth is prohibitive, here’s the link. (You’ll have to give them an e-mail address. Any e-mail address will work, if you get my drift.)
Thanks for reading!

Click “View Our Digital Magazine” or “Current Issue” and then flip to the back page. The article is called “Making our own home for the holidays” and is part of the “Pop Rocks” column.
