I hate to make your story morbid (as if stomping bugs isn’t enough), but I was bullied in school and neither of my parents ever bother to go to the school and inquire about it. I suspect that my father never really knew it much because I lived with my mom, but when I would tell my mom stuff that had happened, she would always say, “well, what did you do to them to make them act that way to you?”

Yea, my fault. So, you go DADDY, you intervene til she tells you to stop!
