Kids are such a mix of stuff. I have one daughter who, as a toddler, was always a step ahead of all the boys physically. She could scale fences, hang off of ropes, etc from a frighteningly young age. Her sister was born with a demure look on her face and was completely uninterested in crawling, walking, or demolishing the house. I had the first one pegged as "tomboy" the second as "the fem one" but it turns out they’re really a blend. They both go out in the driveway after a rain and smear mud in each others’ hair, and they both like to wear dresses, and they both like fishing, even the dead fish part. There’s just no pigeon holing kids. Wonder what your #2 will be like.

I suppose. I’m not very manly and I hate sports.

But I do like to garden, so a boy would be good for carrying compost.
