Back on the "I’m so selfish" thread, I’m thinking tonight (the first night in her life Boo hasn’t nursed before bedtime) might be a little challenging.

Oh yuck – for you and the wife! I hope everything heals quickly.
About the bedtime nursing, she may not be too upset if mommy isn’t there – my son was fine when I wasn’t around, it was only if I was there that he thought he NEEDED to nurse for an hour.
When E isn’t home, and Ronen asks to nurse (with her!) before nap or bed, I just tell him, “Mommy isn’t home, sweetie” and put him in bed. He sniffles a little, but falls asleep just fine.
