My little girl did that to me at the supermarket! Most of the strangers in the aisle didn’t actually hear her fart, but they sure did hear her blame me!!
Our boy blames inanimate objects. The wall, the toilet, the chair.
It’s a different game, i guess. Your version makes more sense.
My oldest has learned the blame-shifting thing, too, and I’m actually not sure who that’s from. Oh well.
