Working Wives of Stay-at-Home Dads

Posted on August 5th, 2007 in Working Mom, stay-at-home guilt

Working Mom wonders where the resources are for working wives of stay-at-home dads. There are lots of blogs and forums by and for stay-at-home dads, working moms, working dads, and stay-at-home moms, but she just couldn’t pull a “working wives of stay-at-home dads” site out of Google.

So… she started one. It’s a blog, with just one entry so far, in which she asks:

“So how did I end up working full-time as a college dean while my husband is a stay-at-home dad with our 18-month old daughter?”

If you’re so inclined, would you check it out “Dean Mama” and give her a word of support? I’d really appreciate it.

  1. I take it you finally told Working Mom about this here terrific blog? Congratulations!

    @:)

  2. Yep, she knows about it (finally), although she doesn’t read it unless I say it’s OK. Which is just fine with me — sometimes I use it as a way to get my unedited thoughts together so we can talk more rationally…

  3. I am so glad to find a group of women who are in the same boat I am. My husband is staying home with our son (9 months old). It’s a great gift!!
