Makeover Monday. Poopyhead Painter. Deplorable Disarray.

Posted on July 16th, 2007 in goals

My goal for last week’s Makeover Monday, you’ll remember, was to reload the newly-painted living room with furniture and such. Of course, to be able to do that, the living room would have to actually be newly-painted. The painter finally finished ten days late, on Saturday, at something like 10:30 p.m., leaving me about 36 hours to make good on my Makeover Monday promise.

And I did!

More or less, anyway.

This week’s goal:

I will get the office straightened up, with the help of project boxes, filing systems, recycling bags, and possibly a flame thrower.

I feel like an unwilling magpie: we have SO MUCH STUFF! Two huge crates of Working Mom’s old photos (unfiltered, still in their developer’s envelopes), probably 1,000 pens and pencils, enough greeting cards to keep us wishing everyone we know Happy Arbor Day for a century, dozens of software CDs we probably don’t need… Trust me, I have quite a week planned!

No link to Mood Swinging Mommy’s makeover this week… she’s still in the throes of moving, so we can all guess what sort of makeovers she’s after!
