Makeover Monday Mayhem

I’m going to make this quick and dirty (emphasis on the dirty), because (as you know if you’ve been following the saga), our entire life is piled into the dining room, we’re living out of the kitchen and nursery, and I’m about to tear my hair out because, for reasons known only to himself, the painter we hired to do the walls while we were away decided to wait until we were back.
So. He says he’s going to finish today, so my goal for this week is:
Put all our crap back where it belongs.
I almost put “find a new painter” down as one of the goals, too, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing all the painting myself for a while. I’m in one of those “Trust No One and You’ll Never Be Disappointed” moods. Someone… please tell me, I’m a good person, right? The Universe isn’t getting back at me for some sin of my youth? (If not, then which one of the many sins is being punished now? Just curious.)
Mood Swinging Mommy, who started me on this theme in the first place, is coincidentally trying to sell her house, too, so I have no idea if she’s planning a makeover post or not. Just in case, show her some love.
