Hey, all. I’ve got another post up over at GNM Parents about my ambivalence at being the daddy-Pied-Piper who gets a poopy-load of toddler love at the playground and in music class. Basically, I’m the goof that the kids pile onto…

Now, I’m not one of those parents who tries pointedly to ingratiate themselves with others’ babies (but I don’t avoid them, either). Nonetheless, I get a lot of toddler love in playgroups, classes, and at the playground. … The thing is, some parents and nannies don’t really “play along” at music class, or in other play settings like the sandbox. …

      I sometimes feel like the Pied Piper of the under-3 set at the playground. I wonder if it’s because a) I’m male, b) I’m a goof, or c) both.
